In 2016, adidas collaborated with A Bathing Ape (BAPE) to unveil two rare NMD R1 shoes: the Bape x NMD R1 in 'Olive and 'Black.' The sneakers debuted and sold out instantaneously at select flagship shops and BAPE distributors. BAPE's olive camouflage is integrated into the NMD R1 model, which is influenced by old-school design.
